Harms or goodness the Internet bring to us?

There is more freedom for the typical Internet user to play, to communicate, to shop — more opportunities than ever before, said form Jonathan Zittrain, a law professor and co-founder of Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet & Society. With the amount of freedom and opportunities it gives us, the same scale of harms and threaten it will happens at the same time. This blog is used for talking about both the harms and benefits we obtained from Internet.

It is true that the internet gives millions of people access to information they would not otherwise have had, which is a huge benefit we need admitted. It has become a major resource of information for many people. However, online information has usually not gone through the same checks as newspaper, articles or books. The high risk that some of the facts or messages from a particular source is false even doesn’t exist at all. Since the amount of time, money and labor resources it will take for checking out each information that has been posted on the internet and given to the equal chance and space to material of greatly variety of quality of information, this is a big serious risk which will threat the growth of internet.

From the website named debatewise, people themselves are the first and most important person to protect your own privacy. Anick told us security firewalls and spam filters became crucial as the Internet grew and attracted malicious behavior. Though there are some lows to avoid people sell your personal information, yourself still is the only person who to blame to as you give your personal information out without being sure that it will be have the properly used. Once we post something online, it is almost impossible to erase it from the net. Additionally, the law doesn’t protect your right to
privacy in the public area.

Form the all points I listed and what I not mentioned in former, you can get that Internet gives us both
benefits and harms, as long as you use internet in the property ways, “Allow that open access, and a thousand flowers bloom,” said Kleinrock.
